Fast and Fabulous - Truly TURBO!

In two short sessions I was able to enter all my data, do some corrections when the rest of the paperwork came in from the companies, and get my return in by 15 February! Ahhh - peace of mind, and getting my refund back early! Way to go Turbo!

Your should be able to include at least three state e files in the price of the software. Will look next year as to which software is the most competive.

When I got to the part where one enters the IRA deductable contributions there was not enough help from TT on what the limits were. I had to make several adjustments befor it 'checked' OK.
What's not so great: TT was not as helpful as would want in determining the limits for our IRA deductions.

Issues with Mi. returns!

Been using Turbotax 15 yrs never had a problem till now .Still waiting for corrections with Mi. Daughter only made $590 how can she owe state $14 ?

Taxes made easy

I think Turbo Tax is so easy to use. It is very user friendly too.
I like that you can pick and chose which areas to go thru instead of having to go thru every section, even the ones that don't apply to you.
I have used Turbo Tax for many many years and I have had no problems. I will continue to use Turbo Taax as long as I am able to do taxes.

Doing our taxes

Did daughter-in-law's taxes; she had partial payment into two different local school districts due to a late reporting of a move on her part. Turbotax did two school tax forms to her new school district (in escense showing her need to pay the school district twice as much money as she was due).

Quick and Easy

What's great about it: Exceptionally easy to understand and use, almost idiot proof!
What's not so great: Difficulty with making corrections to large item purchase for sales tax deduction purposes.

Asks the Right Questions

With my job there are some complicated tax issues. The last time I had my taxes done by a professional it cost me $700. Tax preparers often charge by the form and I had to have forms made for every car I used, and many other forms related to my professional expenses and housing allowance. As soon as I started using Turbo Tax and typed in my occupation all the right questions started being asked. That gave me great confidence in my ability, with Turbo Tax's help, to do my own taxes and save the $700. I am hooked and already have ordered the 2013 edition.
