TurboTax 2012

I have used TurboTax for quite a few years now. It has made doing my own taxes very easy and pretty much stress free. The current program, TurboTax 2012, is a continued improvement in Federal and State Tax preparation.
What's great about it: Ease of Use, Accuracy

Easy to follow

Every step of the way Turbo Tax guided me. If I had a question the drop downs answered them plus there is on line help, I use to pay hundreds of dollars to have a tax service prepare my taxes. I have been using TT for several years and everything has flowed without an issue, Nice to have the free E-Files too!

Turbo Tax first time

I did my taxes and my mothers and in-laws. Ours were really simple and it went quickly. My in-laws taxes were more complicated and I wasn't sure about alot of their info, but the program was very helpful! Will definitely use it again.
What's great about it: easy to follow , step by step, thorough
What's not so great: cant think of any

E-File Take II

If you are a detail person, Turbo Tax is the software for you. I like being able to look at last year's taxes and being able to compare and contrast any errors that could occur.
What's great about it: Was able to get help to solve issue
What's not so great: Hard to print state file instead of efiling.

dissatisfied with inability to efile because an update was not downloaded automatically for an iMac as stated in directions

What's not so great: impossible to find a telephone number for help/did not transfer info from 2011 to 2012

TurboTax problems

Important portions of the interview do not show up (e.g. whether to allocate federal overpayment to next year's taxes) omitted, requiring me to go to the forms.
Information incorrectly transferred from federal to state return, retirement income doubled. Wonder what other errors I may not have caught.
