excellent tax prep

There's one thing that's positive about filing taxes and that's TurboTax! Helpful tips along the way, very nicely organized software for easy entry for information, seamless updates. Will be back year after year!

I love Turbo Tax. Ive been doing my taxes for years. We have also paid others to do it for us. I have called and compared information with IRS and it is always accurate.
What's great about it: Easy, Takes the guess work out

Our return is mostly pretty simple. Still, we have one situation that Turbotax describes as 'uncommon'. Earlier in the tax season, I tried a competitor's online tax prep product, and just could not figure out how to tell it about our situation. I eventually got frustrated enough to just dump the file and went out and bought Turbotax. Surprise, surprise, our little 'hickup' is part of Turbotax's routine navigation - just like last year. It may be uncommon, but we've been in this particular situation for a couple of years now, so I think we'll be sticking with Turbotax.
What's great about it: Easy navigation, clear simple language
What's not so great: What cons? I found none.

What's not so great: Local form did not transfer the amount that I paid in taxes from my W2.

Like a treasure hunt!

I do my own and my family's taxes and Turbotax makes complicated investments a snap to keep track of and report. I could never hope to do it all on my own- this saves me loads of money!
What's great about it: extremely easy to navigate through and reminds me of every little detail, including some I had overlooked.
What's not so great: the pricing for add-on states

Easy and fast

I have been using TurboTax for the past few years and love how fast and easy it is. As long as you have all of your paperwork at hand, you can go your taxes in about an hour.
