Easy Peasy

I've been using my Turbo Tax since 2004 and it's always been the top choice for my family to use. Can't ask for anything more.
What's great about it: Very intuitive and got my taxes done lightning fast
What's not so great: Just my old computer.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo is great

What's great about it: Walks you through most tax issues

TurboTax

This is my first time using TurboTax; a friend recommended and I am glad that I tried it. Taxes were easily done and questions were answered. TurboTax will be the only software I use to prepare my tax returns.

Very nice, but.....

I always use TT and love it. It's very simple to use for the most part. However, two years in a row, I made the mistake of starting Schedule C for Auto use for a business. This section is way too involved and gets to be not worth the effort. But try to error check after doing this, and its a federal crime. I went from 2 to 1 to 3 to 10 errors as I tried to get around this. Finally a Help Topic I found told me how to delete the Schedule. Last year I think I entered my data from the beginning on a separate return. I would like a better tutorial on how to remove something if you mistakenly enter it. Other than that, love your product. thanks.
What's great about it: Importing works great. Love that last years info is always there.
What's not so great: Removing data for Schedule C was a pain.

Overall, a very good easy to use tax filing program.
What's great about it: The process leads you through the tax maze.
What's not so great: Difficulty editing K-1 Schedules.
