Thank you Refund

I feel very comfortable using this product. I have been using this product for 8-10 years. It is wonderful being able to do taxes on my own (with your help), than having to pay someone to do this. I really appreciate all of the detailed items that walk you step-by-step through the process. Sometimes it is a little confusing, but I have always been able to work it out.
What's great about it: Provided all of the areas needed.
What's not so great: Sometimes you have to redo areas to get them correct.

The flexibility I mention in the pros is offset by the fact when you go back to change something, one has to work through all the questions and sometimes remark what you previously marked.
The reboot was a nuisance. It would tell me it was rebooting but I always had to go and resign on after receiving the update.
What's great about it: I like that I can explore on my own or go step by step
What's not so great: TurboTax didn't reboot after an update

Had to go to help on-line to fix estimated
on April 9, 2013
Posted by: LeslieMilton
I found that the amount I overpaid was not transferred properly to the calculation of payments of the 2013 estimated tax. I had checked the box indicating that the overpayment should be credited to the 2013 payment directly on the form. I found that, though the 1040 showed that no refund was to be made and that the overpayment was to be credited to 2013, the estimated payments totaled 110% of my 2012 tax, all of the same amount, 1/4th of the 110%. Only by returning to the step-by-step Federal Taxes tab and going to the page in which one opts to credit the overpayment to 2013 was I able to fix the problem -- now the first 1040-ES shows the reduced payment.
Otherwise, as usual, the program worked in the way I'm familiar with and I'm confident of the results. Also, I was able to get a clue as to what my problem was by using the on-line help, using the option of going to the on-line community. That led me to re-examine the sequence on the Federal Taxes step.
Finally, one small quibble. Never before have I noticed the option for filing estimated taxes is based under certain conditions on 110% of the previous year's tax. It would have been nice to have an explanation of this new wrinkle.
What's great about it: continuity (been using TurboTax since the beginning
What's not so great: slight glitch on calculating estimated 2013 payments
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Got it Done!

Been putting off my taxes this year because of many life changes. I thought I was going to owe big time due to my seriously low with holding. Finally sat down and did this chore with 6 days to spare before the deadline. Not only did I not owe but I am getting over $1500.00 back!
What a relief!
Thanks TurboTax for making my year!
What's great about it: So fast! Took me less than 90 minutes and I had 1099 income along with my W2s
What's not so great: Having to scroll down the review list after every section.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Would like a preview of the actual form in the same window when I'm entering data.
What's great about it: Carries over redundant information from year to year and federal to state. True benefit noticed on the second year.
What's not so great: None.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved
