Easy to use

Overall, I like using TurboTax and I feel that it provides me a safe way to do my own taxes without having to be a CPA. I do sometimes wonder if I could lower my tax burden by going to a professional.
What's great about it: I like how it steps me through my return
What's not so great: Sometimes the explanations don't go far enough

Turbo Tax makes taxes easy

Realistically, if you have a relatively simple financial life, software like Turbo Tax makes taxes easy. If you have lots of investments, and lots of money, then who knows. Go hire an accountant.
What's great about it: You answer the questions, and it figures it out

Turbo Taxed

This is a very easy tool, even a dummy like me can figure it out. I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and it is easier every year. I really like how it copies over any information needed from the previous year and the fact that all info is copied over to your State Return once the Federal Return is populated. I highly recommend Turbo Tax to anyone.
What's great about it: Very user friendly and intuitive

Talked me off a cliff!

The tax process is nerve-racking for me, but I refuse to breakdown and pay someone to do them for me. TurboTax walked me through the process, and at the spots I was starting to get worried/anxious, TurboTax was there to explain what was happening next. Those short sentences really made me comfortable and I got my taxes done in one short night.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, and explained every little bit just before I got nervous.
What's not so great: The process took an hour longer than last year.

Easier than you think

I was pleasantly surprised that Turbo Tas had it all covered. Forclosure, Working Poor Credit and School Credit in Arizona. Great

Overall great program. I've compared returns with figuring in other programs and come out ahead with TurboTax.
