Using Turbo Tax to complete our taxes has been the easiest and quickest way to complete them and with the least amount of stress. Won't do it any other way! Thank you Turbo Tax.

I use the product to do my family taxes and one friend. They think I am a tax expert. It is easy to follow and no return has ever been audited.
What's great about it: precise and easy to follow
What's not so great: I haved used for years and have no cons

When you know you gotta pay the tax man, and you wait till it's crunch time! There's nothing like using turbo tax to get it done with a piece of mind, knowing that someone's got your back through the entire process! safe, easy, and secure, and when it's all said and done, you can get a good nights sleep!!!

What's great about it: I liked the way they ask the questions and my answers go in the "Correct" places

a few hiccups

Well, I have been using Turbo Tax for years. Actually, my sister does them for me. This year, I decided to try it on my own...Kinda scary. Thankfully, the program is analytical and sequential. However, I became very emotional while trying to figure this out. It wasn't until the very end, when it asked me to run an Errors Report that it told me that I needed to fill in my 1099-INT numbers in either fields #1, #3, or #8. SERIOUSLY? Which one do you want? To add to my frustration...I NEVER RECEIVED A 1099-INT! So I was clueless and fact-less. TOTAL FRUSTRATION ENSUED. That and the fact that I seemed to owe a MUCH bigger NYS tax payment than usual. I'm kinda used to owing NYS anywhere from $4.25 to $22.00. But this year, it came back as a whopping $154.00 payment, without explanation as to why the huge disparity. I am exhausted and am going to go to bed now. I do not know if this will help you, at all. But, thanks for listening. So...are we still good for "same time next year?" :-) Eileen in Rochester, NY

2012 Turbo Tax

This is the latest in many years of using Turbo Tax and this year was better than last. I had to get K-1 statements from an entity online and TT was able to read the statement and pull the data into my return's worksheets.
Very good, beats hours of sitting with someone at H&R that you have to explain your situation to.
What's great about it: Completeness
What's not so great: Not easy to go back to specific place in process

Peace of Mind

Turbo Tax and e-file is the only way I'll do my taxes. Super easy to use. I have a high level of confidence that everything is complete and accurate. I like how it compares figures to the previous year. Very easy to view forms and e-filing is a breeze. All-in-all a great product.
What's great about it: Very confident taxes were done right
What's not so great: none
