Turbo tax makes doing my tax return a breeze...been using it since 1995...back when it was on a floppy disk...there are cheaper tax software companies...but you do get what you pay for...thanks intuit will be looking forward to next year...
What's great about it: Error check...keeps the average tax customer from making mistakes...
What's not so great: Can't think of any...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax does my tax every year for 10 years

We have used Turbo Tax for years and will comtinue to use it. It figures everything you put in automatically and accurately.

In the past Turbo Tax has been simple to use. This year it was not, because of all the extra charges and extra steps that were needed to complete return. If this is the future of Turbo Tax, then this will be the last time I use it.

Gets Worse Every Year

Guide Me feature is sorely missed
Interview is unclear - obviously not tested with nonprofessionals
Help feature is useless - links are bad and the final answer is often, "You're on your own"
Too bad - used to be a good product

COULDN'T BE EASIER!

I HAVE BEEN USING TURBO TAX FOR OVER 20 YEARS. I ACTUALLY LOOK FORWARD TO PICK UP MY COPY OF THE PROGRAM EACH YEAR. IT'S GREAT THAT YOU CAN STOP AT ANY TIME AND RESUME RIGHT WHERE YOU LEFT OFF. IT TAKES THE HASSLE OUT OF PREPARING YOUR TAXES.
What's great about it: EASY TO NAVIGATE.....PLENTY OF HELP AND EXPLANATIONS
What's not so great: NONE, REALLY
