gets the job done

We've used TurboTax for years and like it well enough. I only wish that qualifying questions for some sections could all be asked on the front end of the section instead of having to go through the details of the section only to find out that you aren't really qualified for the deduction after all.
What's great about it: quick and easy
What's not so great: have to go through some sections to find out they don't apply

Great job- simple but accurate

I m happy it is done.
I am single mom and I need to understand my finaces so doing my taxes helps me to do so. If I had understood the updates I might have been done a lot sooner than I was. I am confident using this program because I have used it for the last 4 years.

The guide provided me with the confidence that required fields were completed correctly; thus, ensured me that my tax return was being processed properly and expeditiously
What's great about it: Detailed questions, additional information, etc. provided the added confidence that all was processing correctly

Awesome product!!

Started using TurboTax in 2010 and love it! Would probably not be able to do my own taxes without it. Makes it simple. No struggling to find or figure out obscure IRS forms and worksheets as the software does it for you. This year my final return included over 100 pages of forms and worksheets, all created by TurboTax!!
What's great about it: Makes it simple, can revisit areas as many times as you need, pulls in key info from prior years
What's not so great: none

Easy Working Program

Great program with all the features that I nave noted as missing from previous editions.
Easy to understand and decide what to do based on the information popups.
Keep up the good work. Program is almost perfect as it is.
What's great about it: easy to manuver around in program to review and update sections and data.
What's not so great: None identified

Turbotax got me through a complicated return!

I was really surprised this year because my return was quite complicated and the step by step approach really worked!
I use Quicken for my finances and can easily sort the required information from Quicken spending reports.
It took time, but not as long as I expected.
I have not efiled before, so I hope I did everything correctly. I think a little more information about what to do when you efile would be good. I actually didn't efile my state return because I owed money and wasn't sure how that would be handled.
The program did not ask if I wanted my refund applied to next year's taxes, so I did have to go back and do that manually.

What's not so great: Sometimes it is not clear what line on a 1099 to find the requested amount
