Survived Another Year of the IRS

The product is very helpful even with a basic return. Provides appropriate options to explore to make sure you are taking the correct deductions and steers you clear of trying to take one you should not.

I use TurboTax every year. Why pay someone to do your taxes? Turbo Tax is quick and easy and gives you help along the way. It is as easy as entering your numbers and poof your done. Easy peasy!!
What's great about it: Loved how Turbo Tax walks me all the way through!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It is a one step at a time. No hurry. You can do your taxes over several days or weeks. All information you have submitted will still be there. You can edit at any time. I wouldn't do it any other way. Thank you to Turbo Tax and its personel who are there to help you.
What's great about it: All of answers you may have are available. It is very easy to follow.
What's not so great: I don't really have any cons.

At a point you said state filling is free. Later you charge for state filling!

I used to use various tax professionals and EAs for the preparation of my taxes. Both corporate and individuals. Then with the advent of tax software I started doing my own. I started with Turbo tax for several years with no regrets. Then, thinking they are probably all the same, I went with the "other" tax software at the time. It was cheaper. Well... You get what you pay for. It was confusing and it jumped around a lot. I was not comfortable with the results. In the end everything went alright. But I will never stray from Turbo Tax again!
What's great about it: Very easy. Felt very comfortable with the results and audit risk assessment.
What's not so great: I got nothing

Rocked My World

The forms are easy to follow and it makes it easy to complete the returns. This is the third or fourth year I have used Turbotax and I will continue to ues it in years to come.
What's great about it: Most forms were easy to follow.
What's not so great: Line 12 was difficult to get right the first time.

Been using TurboTax for years with great results Used to buy the Ernst & Young Tax Guide (900 pages) and would read and highlight cover to cover. Then I started using TurboTax! Fantastic!
