Turbo Tax makes a difficult task seem easy

The Turbo Tax software makes it easy to file your returns. The interview features provide an excellent guide to work through the difficult steps. The back button allowed me to go back and review my data without losing anything from the previous steps. I also like the feature that allowed me to see the actual forms and saving the file as a PDF is convenient for future banking.
What's great about it: The interview features are excellent. I like having the ability to use the back button to go back and review my data.
What's not so great: I don't have anything negitive to say about my Turbo Tax experience
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

My first encounter

Many items I had to leave because I could find no enough information about them. Two tries to phone support and finally had to give up after a very long wait. Time did not permit to wait indefinitely.
I was surprised that I had to spend another $20 just to send my state return. That was a surprise as I was unaware of additional charges.
When I selected to send, the indicator was spinning for over an hour. I forced quit and tried again and it said it transmitted immediately.
What's great about it: Prepare from home
What's not so great: Not enough information for items asked for. Addl., $20 cost. Hung up sending.

Was easy and fairly painless

Turbo tax is as easy a tax return assistant as you would want. I have been using them for many many years and have never had a problem.
What's great about it: Fast and had information complied from last year.
What's not so great: none i can think of.

Quick, Efficient and thorough.

The ease of use and confidence Turbo tax gives me is worth every penny. I complete my taxes fast and feel confident when I e-file that my return is accurate and I will not have any worries of getting audited.
What's great about it: Fast , easy, no paperwork to mail.
What's not so great: Having to pay to file state electronically

Every year I dread preparing my tax returns but the anxiety goes away as soon as I am taken by the hand and guided by Turbo Tax through the maze that is the tax system. It is as if TT anticipates my questions along the way and answers them in easy to understand text. Also, the Help tab is chockablock with FAQs and links to IRS instructions. I find TT comprehensive yet very user friendly!

This is my fifth year using TurboTax, and it is always a breeze to get the maximum amount back in the quickest time.
It is also less expensive than other alternatives.
