Transfering the past year's data is very helpful. I wait until I have receive all the forms from the various payees so it only takes one pass through the process to generate a return which is practically complete. Last year I received an inheritance and Turbotax showed a sizeable deduction which I didn't know existed. I have used Turbotax for years and will contine to do so.
What's great about it: Very complete process & very easy to do.
What's not so great: Would like to see exactly how final tax is calculated.

Turbo Tax is fun!

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years now and I absolutely love it. What prompted me to start using Turbo Tax is a live accountant. After years of having an accountant do my taxes, I found that he cost me hundreds of dollars by not entering a deduction for summer child care that I was entitled to. When I brought this to his attention, he did amended returns at no charge but could only go back so many yrs. So now I use Turbo Tax and it's actually fun - and of course, accurate! My whole family is hooked as well because of me. Try it and you'll love it!
What's great about it: user friendly
What's not so great: nothing - just perfect!

I have been purchasing this product for years, it has never disappointed me. very accurate. I wish you hadn't cancelled the card though.

I got helped deducting various business expenses and there were links to the resources I needed to answer my additional questions. I wish there was a better way to ask questions though, the tax community is good, but the answer I was looking for was not there, there was a similar question, but it had not been answered in several days.
What's great about it: Helped me navigate through business expenses and specialized deductions
What's not so great: wish there was a live chat help feature, I looked up a question in the community but it was not answered for several day
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
