Step-by-Step Very Cool

Step-by-Step makes it easy to enter data accurately and quickly, for example, for stock sales and partnership K1's.
But I think the rule about deducting nonresident state taxes from my home state tax return could be explained more clearly . Overall, I think TurboTax is a great product and I have been using it since 2005.

Always Great!

What's great about it: fast and easy to understand
What's not so great: Nothing. Maximum money back
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Awkward

I like to back check regularly and constantly had problems finding the place I wanted to go. If I wanted to check a specific deduction or expense I had to go back to beginning of of personal info each time and then step through entire section to get what I wanted.
Terribly inconvient!!!!
What's great about it: Checking routine great
What's not so great: Had trouble backtracking to specific place on reture

have used TurboTax since 1995. One year I tried another company, it was so cumbersome that it took me twice as long to prepare my taxes.
The step-by-step method asks correct easy to understand questions, you answer the questions and fill the forms, download appropriate information and wallah! Your tax return is done

Very long-time user

I have been using TurboTax since the very beginning. My friends thought I was crazy-funny to let a computer program do my taxes but I'm the one laughing now. TurboTax showed me how badly our tax code has been designed. The tax code sure makes it easy for tax accountants to make lots of money. Thank you TurboTax for saving me from our tax code complexities and from all those, so called, tax preparation experts, who probably use TurboTax when nobody is watching.
What's great about it: Easy to use, accurate, and cost-effective.
What's not so great: Doesn't handle K-1s very well. However, nobody does

Trustworthy tool

I've worked in internal services for accounting firms for several years and have been using TurboTax to do our family taxes. I always have a partner review my work and it's always right. One of the easiest tools I've used.
What's great about it: Easy to use tutorial
What's not so great: Cost
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy going

Couldn't find schedule A. Should be able to bypass printing estimated tax vouchers. Not sure if I can just print the forms I want and not have to print all worksheets when I make a second or third printing. Just want to print state and not federal. Shoud include cost to efile of state in purchase price like Fed efile.
What's great about it: Ilike the abi;ity to have turbo tax obtain and calculate investment sales
What's not so great: Don't like the fact the results of entries aren't shown for all catagortires
