Having access to previous years info is very helpful. It is extremely timesaving to let Turbo Tax access broker accounts since Schedule D is more complicated this year. Another big advantage is being able to e-file the return.
What's great about it: I liked being able to start and stop easily and not having to shuffle papers.

All in all great. When will State efile be free like Federal is? Best in the tax business is Turbo-tax.

What's not so great: Wanted me to open account DURING process of efiling info- gets in the way of what I am doing!

Loved using it again

My old computer crashed and last years taxes could not be located on the back-up hard drive. For the first time in years, I had to start fresh. Still as simple as I remember years ago. everything is explained in plain language. And thank you for not having to enter everything a second time to do my state return!

Spent about 30 minjs in a do loop trying to get interest entered which should have been like following entry whatever it was. I kept hitting edit for what was printed on the screen as i wanted to edit what I saw (interest amount) it was asking me to edit the interest institution which as far as I was concerned was already there why should I have to type it in again. Took a good 15 mins to figure out how to print. First screen recommending to print a review copy just took me to a help page when I hit print, then several screens later I finally found a way to print which again was confusing as save and print should be an option as well as separate choices.
What's great about it: it probably helped
What's not so great: needs to be more anticomputer person friendly

I have used TurboTax for years now, and each year it is a little better and a little easier to use. I have reviewed others, but TurboTax fits my needs perfectly.
