Really Big Help

Product improves every year. A great feature to be able to link to financial data. I liked, too, the thorough and generally clear explanations and tips. TurboTax provides excellent assistance.
What's great about it: Clear instructions, easy to use
What's not so great: Occasional need to correct something I didn't understand

TurboTax 2012 Review

Again, I feel very confident that TurboTax for 2012 has successfully and accurately calculated my Federal and State income tax liability. I always feels assured that this software not only handles all known tax situations, but provides on-going reminders about items I may have forgotten or entered last year but not this year. Outstanding product, and put together very well in all respects (including the direct tie between TTax and Intuit's web site for the in-stream payment of the fee for e-filing my state return - Grrrrrr!).
What's great about it: Same reliable and complete federal and state tax preparation software I'm accustomed to, and rely on year after year.
What's not so great: Why niggle about something(s) minor in software that works so well, and provides this customer with great satisfaction.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Everything is easy, just that the recovering password didn't work well neither to pay my state e file with my credit card.

TurboTax is always easy to use.

I've been using TurboTax since it first came on the market and it seems to get better each year. It handles all my needs, which include consulting business income and expenses.
What's great about it: Covers all the bases, lets me keep efiles
What's not so great: E-filing for states is too pricey.

We have used Turbo Tax for several years. It gets better every year. I have no complaints at all. We used the Audit Defense once. They wourk with us a got IRS to settle at very little expense to us.
What's great about it: VERY EASY TO USE. ASKS ALL THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

Awesome Program But Still A Few Glitches

The data entry feature is simple and easy to use if you have any knowledge at all about the various forms you receive at tax time. The program takes you through each step of the process and it alerts you as to which forms you will need and when. Even if you are missing something, it is relatively easy to skip a step and then go back to it when you have gathered the necessary documents. The error check feature gives you a warm fuzzy feeling before you hit the e-file button.
What's great about it: Program moves you through a logical progression of items to be entered.
What's not so great: Had difficulty entering today's date and had to enter info on a W-2 although my wife and I are retired.
