Always use TurboTax

There's a short learning curve to get used to the interview method but once you're familiar with it, TurboTax is very convenient to use. Handy to test different scenarios for the coming year too.

No Stress

I have been using Turbo Tax for the last 7 years and it has improved year after year. The interface is very user-Friendly, great tutorials and guidance along the way, and we especially love the risk analysis at the end. God bless you for creating this wonderfully stress free product so we don't have to dread this time of year.

I've always used the interview option because it's so easy; takes me by the hand. I can enter data for a half hour, save, and come back the next day where I left off. I occasionally use the forms option to check a specific number, then back to the interview option.
I don't have to worry about which forms to complete as my tax situation has become more complex - TurboTax always figures that out based on my responses to easy to understand questions posed in everyday English,

Not completely Intuitive

I like using Turbo Tax every year (past 7 years). I know there are visual changes made every year to supposedly make it more user friendly and intuitive for the individual user, but it is not always the case.
I had difficulty knowing where I left off when I was last working on the filing process. I knew I was somewhere in the income section, but not sure where. There were a lot of blocked that said "start" and "edit," but no definite area that said "This is where you left off."
I finally realized that everything on the page was already "visited" or looked at and all I had to do was go to the bottom of the page and click on "next" or "continue." that was not straight forward. It made it look like I was somewhere on that (Income) section, but could not identify exactly where.
It would be nice if when you save the file and close it to continue another day that it would say,"This is exactly where you left off - on this question." Or, have a red arrow pointing to exactly where you left off.
I ended up opening and looking at several sections on a page before clicking on continue and looking at some more sections on the next page before I realized Turbo Tax puts up the last page you were on and expects you to know all you have to do is click on "continue" to be exactly where you left off.

What's great about it: That TurboTax steps you through it, does the calculations, checks/asks for information it thinks isn't quite right

For the most part easy to understand. I started having trouble sorting through all the deductions.
What's great about it: Easy step by step walkthrough
What's not so great: A little confusing when you get to all the deductions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
