For the most part I enjoy using the turbo tax. It is simple and cuts my tax preparation time to about 1/4 th of the time it use to take me by hand. The questions are helpful. There is little difficulty moving between the forms and the questions. There were difficulties with defining some of the income that lead me down the wrong path. After answering the questions it gave me very unusual deductions that I didn't trust. I also kept getting lost on the questions about capital loss. This year I finally figured it out but now I wonder about the previous years.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Good feedback on steps. Electronic filing makes everything simpler( no rush to the post office).
What's not so great: Sometimes it takes you down the wrong path because you were uncertain how to answer a question.

The program is easy to use, simple and easy instructions, and takes you through step by step. I have used Turbotax for many years and (knock on wood) have never been questioned nor audited.
What's great about it: Easy to understand instructions and forms
What's not so great: Having to wait until the end to print and review forms

Again for 2012, Turbo Tax came through! I have been using for more year than I would like to admit, and the ease of recalling prior year information including carry forwards makes reusing from year to year worth it. While sometimes going through all the questions seems boring, on many occasions, I have been asked something I would have forgotten. Thanks Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Quick recall prior year information
What's not so great: Just hate doing taxes

My Annual Tax Partner

Turbo Tax has provided a reliable steady platform, year after year guiding us through our annual tax submission. It has been our trustworthy advisor from the days sorting out child care, through college expense and now into retirement. The program has evolved and become easier and easier to use but able to work through all the complexities of tax life. We wouldn't do our taxes without it.
What's great about it: Reliable and steady guidance
What's not so great: Has to wait for Congress to act.

Very disappointed in the hidden fees associated with paying taxes and for efile. Will definitely consider another source for taxes next year.
