Quick and Easy

Software was solid, not buggy. Directions and data entry were simple and easy to use.
What's great about it: Easy to use, asked the right questions
What's not so great: It calculated that I owed taxes. Bummer.

I love that Turbo Tax makes it so easy and e-filing is the best, however, I have tried to go back and make changes and I found it virtually impossible to change data entered --no matter how many different ways I tried. I found this frustrating!!
What's great about it: makes it so EASY and love to see the dollars go up as you go along
What's not so great: Cant go back and change things if youv'e forgotten something

Box 12c prevented me from e-filing!

The automated review found an unusual circumstance in my entry for box 12c and I could not proceed with e-filing until resolving. But, there was no way to resolve it because Turbo Tax does not support the entry on my W-2. This prevented me from e-filing.
Here is the exact message:
"For W-2 Box 12 Code 3 of Z is income under section 409A on a non qualified deferred compensation plan. This is unusual and the calculations for the additional tax and interest on this are not supported."

What that means is I can't file my taxes with Turbo Tax after paying money for Federal and two State returns and the e-filing fees!
What's great about it: Easy to get around
What's not so great: Box 12c was a show stopper

First time using Turbo Tax

This was my first time completing my own taxes. I have for several years used a chain tax service, and had good luck with them. This year I decided to try Turbo Tax with the idea that if it was too confusing, I would just return to where I normally have my taxes done.
I was able to use Turbo Tax to file, and I am happy I did. I will say that if you have no knowledge of taxes and tax forms, you are probably better to get help. Also, I saved about $300 by using Turbo Tax, but it did take me longer to complete them myself. However, at this point, the $300 is greater than the amount of increased time I spent working on my taxes.

A Wonderful Annual Experience

Overall, Turbo Tax offers a variety of outstanding features for the use. It is very easy to access and to enter information that is required, and it provides clear explanations of any items which seem somewhat doubtful or difficult. It also offers the user every opportunity to take advantage of deductions, and even provides a review of errors, missing information or potentially troublesome items that may draw undue attention from IRS.
I would highly receommend Turbo Tax to my relatives and friends who have numerous deducations they want to claim in their tax return.
What's great about it: There is very much like abou Turbo Tax, for one it is very user-friendly in terms of ease of access and of entry.
What's not so great: The wait time for making a call for technical help is a bit too long.

Sweat Relief!

Turbo Tax has always been a fast, easy, and realiable way for me to do my taxes. E-filing allows me to receive my money much faster then mailing. Also I feel that my personal information is safe with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: very fast and easy for a new mom with little spare time

What's great about it: Liked the quick access to the forms and being able to enter data directly to the forms.
