I have used TurboTax for an number of years and made the mistake of not using it last year...major hassle. Point is, I am back this year and glad of it! Great software program for those who choose to self-prepare.
What's great about it: Clear, concise and easy to change if needed until completed
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

TurboTax has still some way to go

Although overall experience seems to be good with TurboTax, for people like myself with investment income from ETFs structured as Partnerships, TurboTax does not automatically reconcile the differences between 1099 from broker and K-1 from the Partnership. I had to manually adjust the cost basis. This is even harder if you have wash sales.
What's great about it: Simple things are easy
What's not so great: Anything that is not simple is not easy with TurboTax
Pros: I had a baby, I bought or sold investments

It is a great program. It is easy for all ages to use. I would suggest TurboTax to anyone.

TurboTax is the best product that I've ever used (and I've used it for about 12 years). If you have your paperwork ready you're set to go. TurboTax asks you questions and you provide the answer. Turbo tax doesn't ease to burden of tax liabilities, they do make to process of determining the liability easier.
What's great about it: Simple, easy to follow instructions

Stress Relief

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. Each year it seems to provide more information to make filing your taxes stress free.
What's great about it: Easy to use, questions answered quickly, ease of filing
What's not so great: Some questions are confusing and don't relate to your specific tax issue

Fast and easy!

I have been use Turbo Tax for 6 years. It uploads my last year tax return and eliminate a lot of data entries. It can retrieve my tax data from Fidelity and Vanguard, then creates Schedule D and Form 8949 automatically.
What's great about it: Fast and Easy.
What's not so great: none
