Great Pesonal Management Tool

Great program that continues to improve annually.
What's great about it: ease of use, historical data transfers year-to-year
What's not so great: not convenient to switch back and forth between forms to review quickly.

Easy to Use

Had a lot of different types of income as well as huge medical expenses in 2012. It was very easy to organize and enter all into Turbo Tax. I like that Turbo Tax performs all of the calculations.

Great Experience

Turbo tax is very easy and fluent. I like the step by step process and especially the review and error check at the end. I have used turbo tax for several years now and plan to continue using it! Thanks! :)

Turbo Tax Review

I have been using turbo tax for as many years as I can remember. I used to have a CPA do my returns but then he died. When I heard about Turbo Tax I knew that I could do my taxes by myself. It has been such a pleasure because it gives my such peace of mind. I know that what I have fiiled is correct. This year is the first year I efiled. It was so much easier than standing in line at the Post Office. I think I will always efile in the future. Thank you,Turbo Tax
What's great about it: Quick and easy to do by yourself
What's not so great: You need a computer.

Logical and straightforward

I have been using Turbo Tax for the past 23 years and each year improvements are made to the program. I really like the fact that much of the information is filled in from the last year submission. I also like the automatic download of information from my financial institutions and W2. The Its Deductable is also very helpful.
This year seemed easier than ever and I appreciate the included Federal E file.
What's great about it: Really like the fill ins from last year
What's not so great: Have to go through some parts again when going back to check on something
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Improvements suggested:
The feature allowing switching between "Easy Guide" and "Forms" , and the feature allowing one to see where a number entry came from by double clicking it are very handy but they were not explained. I became aware of this during a conversation with one of your CPAs. These features make Turbo-Tax much better than most people know.

Entering 1099-DIV box 8 income regarding gain from the liquidation of an insurance company (there is no ordinary or qualified dividend) into the appropriate location in the Investment Income section is very poorly explained.
What's great about it: Easy Guide is a great way to insert the required information.
What's not so great: Entering 1099-DIV Box 8 amount into investment income section
