I really do enjoy using turbo tax every year for me and my whole family. It is easy to use and can be done whenever I want to at my ease. I have never had an issue and I have complete faith that my return is being processed correctly every step of the way = I have no problem telling people how great turbo tax is
What's great about it: Very wasy and quick to use and I can do it at my own time and do it for others too

Overlooked energy saving information for new sliding glass doors installed in 2012. When program asked for this information, didn't have a break down on cost of doors and installation.
What's great about it: Allows me to input all information I have available and decides how to best file
What's not so great: no cons but will save this year's information in hopes of reducing taxes

I WILL CONTINUE TO USE TURBO TAX . ITS EASY TO USE AND YOU CAN ALWAYS FIND ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS . HELPS TO BE THOROUGH . I LOVE THAT IT IS AFFORDABLE AND I DONT HAVE TO DEAL WITH ANY STRANGERS TO COMPLETE MY TAXES . ITS PRETTY QUICK AND YOU CAN GO AT YOUR OWN PACE .
What's great about it: ITS ALWAYS EASY TO USE

turbo tax

I have used several other tax forms, but feel more comfortable with the step by step instructions the program provides. I like the way it checks to verify if they think something is out of wack with info presented. I will use it again next year.
What's great about it: very easy to follow, good examples along the way
What's not so great: sometimes I would like to make a quick call because I panic

I've used TT for years with never any problem. This 2012 version was a nightmare by comparison. Could not e file to the state because I supposedly had an entry in the municipal bond interest. I finally figured out that the entry was a "0"!
After entering a 1099-R, the next window kept treating it as a required min. distribution
Printing was extremely difficult. Come on guys..do better
I checked the correct box to print the basic return only. It then printed 99 pages!!!!
What's great about it: tax knowledge of the program
What's not so great: difficulty with printing & technical glitch

For several years, Turbo Tax has helped me immensely, not only to enter my taxes, but to learn what and how to organize them. It's simple to start with, and it gets simpler with each year. The short questions on each screen give you a sense of completion and then it's on to the next screen... so much more satisfying than having a big form to navigate and figure out. Plus, the instant help gives you a quick understanding of the topic, and the Help link gives you even more. One more thing... the Notes flag is extremely useful. If you have an unfinished item... something that you still need to get more info on, you can just flag it. When you need to get back to that topic to complete it, you just click on the related note. SO simple and useful! I LOVE Turbo Tax and will use it forever!
What's great about it: Easy to use & navigate, helps you figure out the details
