Easy

My wife and I have fairly simple taxes but Turbo Tax is still worth it. We've been using it for 4 years and never had an issue.

Turbotax deluxe

Turbotax deluxe is easy to use and pretty solid. Transfers previous years info and can download 1009 and w-4 forms.

DEALING WITH CANADIAN INCOME

When entering Canadian Old Age Pension and Quebec pension data, it is entered in the social security area; but TurboTax, when doing the error check, does not like the addresses and canadian zip codes; it will not accept them. I put in my zip code and my state designation and all's well.
You need to fix this reporting problem.

I started using when the application was called MACinTAX, so I have been a customer for close to 15 years. I have never and will never use another tax program. Once I get all my information together my federal and state taxes are done in about an hour. If I wasn't such a poor typist it would be sooner. thank you TubroTax

Have used TurboTax for many years and it has always been simple and SO user friendly, not to mention cost effective.
This program is chocked full of useful links to information, which quickly, and in laymen terms, explains/defines information required for each question. This really helps speed the process to a quick conclusion and, happily, with less mistakes on our part.
What's great about it: Step by step, questions answered on spot
What's not so great: Too many "offers" that slow the process down.
