I was never able to reset my password to log into Turbo Tax. I forgot my password and just went in circles trying to reset it; back to email, then back to reset then back to email. I was always one step behind with my temp PIN. I just gave up.
What's great about it: Easy straight forward to use; transfers from previous years very hepful as well as comparisons.
What's not so great: I forgot my log in password to charge my credit card. I was never able to to reset the password. I just went in circle

10th year using turbo tax

Love Turbo Tax, every year I use it, it seems to get easier even though the tax code doesn't. I really like the way the carry overs are kept from previous years to make the current years preparation super simple. Thank you Turbo Tax!!
What's great about it: finds deductions and errors super easy

What's great about it: Great software! Has helped me quickly and effectively file my returns for years!
What's not so great: The only con I could come up with is that the screen doesn't let you scroll down using the laptop mousepad...

Not as easy as past years

We have used Turbo Tax for years. I have always liked the way that it walks you through all the steps to make sure you have taken everything into account. It is mostly user friendly. This year, however, since we owe I wanted to file by mail. Instead of just letting you print, you have to preview what will be printed. Okay, that may not be so bad because at least I had a lot of extra Turbo Tax junk. However, once I did want to print, there was no print button. You had to go back to the document it created and print from there and then Cancel out of the print box. The same was true when I went to print a copy for my records. Since this is such a nit-picky thing, it, obviously, was easy to use!
What's great about it: I like the way Turbo Tax walks you through step by step to make sure you have everything
What's not so great: I wanted to file by mail and the print feature was not very user friendly.

Several years ago I picked Turbo Tax to do my taxes. It was one of my better decisions in life. Clear instructions, fast enough and love the e-file.
