Love TurboTax! My financial "empire" is relatively simple and TurboTax walks me through all the steps necessary to get this onerous task done as painlessly as possible. Especially love the help with the deductions and the ability to carry over the personal and employer info from the previous year. I'm sold!

Took about 3 hours, but was very thorough. Used TurboTax for 4 years and very pleased with the results.
What's great about it: Asked every question necessary to get me the max refund.
What's not so great: None apparent

I've used Turbo Tax for years and it just gets better and better! I would never choose anything else! The Guided Tour mode is foolproof!

Absolutely the greatest

I was local tech support with upgrades for several tax practitioners back in the '90s before individual TT was available. I used it the and worked part time in the business of tax prep for some attorneys. It has improved every year but don't know if it can get any better. Thanks

Some confusion

1. Unclear when to print review copy. Kept sending me to support.
2. After printing and paying, but just at the instant of final submission, got error saying update was necessary. I updated TTax then had to examine the update long list of update details to see whether my return was affected, but couldn't find a problem. THE PROGRAM SHOULD HAVE CHECKED FOR UPDATES BEFORE THE FINAL REVIEW!!!

I resumed filing at a point earlier than I left it. Clicked my way thru to final filing with some trepidation that I was duplicating payment, etc., but it was finally transmitted OK.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use, except finding a previous page without stepping thru entire sections.
What's not so great: Confusing instructions prior to e-filing

It Just Keeps Getting Better!

I have used TurboTax for about seven years and it just keeps getting better each year. The general process remains the same but the questions asked keep getting clearer and the explanations are great. I never feel as though anything as gotten forgotten so I'm sure I'm getting as much money back as possible or in some years have paid as little as possible.
One of the great benefits of TurboTax is that the information from the prior year's return is automatically downloaded to the new year's tax forms. This saves time and insures accuracy. Love it.
I can get my returns done in just a few hours even without doing a lot of pre-organizing. I do keep all of my tax return stuff in one folder and add to it throughout the year.
I truly believe this software program is well worth the money.
What's great about it: Easy to understand. Great explanations. Fast!
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax is great for people similar to myself who enjoys seeing where their money is going and where it has gone.
What's great about it: Answered all my questions concerning medical bills.
What's not so great: More expensive than other e-filing software.
