Does not support the hardware listed on the box

I am tired of Intuit and TurboTax going out of their way to marginalize Macintosh users. Though my Mac Mini running OS 10.6.8 was listed as supported on the box, it was not supported by the software on the CD (32 bit vs. 64 bit). on an operating system 20 months old.
However, TutboTax supports Windows XP which was released 11 years ago!
What's great about it: Easy to use as always
What's not so great: Did not support the hardware/OS listed on the box

The step by step does ask the question as to what portion of the distribution is RMD but TT fails to transfer the RMD portion to Form 1040 for 401K distributions. It worked for traditional IRA distribution RMD portion. Chk this out.
What's great about it: Overall good , been using TT for years
What's not so great: You have a shortfall. Not all RMD amounts from 401k and IRA distributions go to the Form 1040 form.. Pls check this !

Simplistic way to solve a difficult issue

I have been using your software for years now and find it the easiest way to complete the serious and dificult job of doing my taxes. I love the import last years data feature. I hate keyboarding stuff that I have previously entered.. I think some of the info has been entered over 5 years ago. Thanks

Doing and Filing taxes made easy with Turbotax

I've been using Turbotax for the past eight years and am always amazed at how easy doing taxes has become. Each year the Turbotax program seems to get better which makes the whole process simple and easy. The step by step instructions are clear and precise and there is always an aide or tax adviser available to help you through the tugher parts. The "Deduct " feature for Charitable Contributions is a godsend making this particularly arduous task a snap giving you an accurate account of all your deductions. Turbotax is the only way to go when filing your taxes
What's great about it: Step by step instructios makes filling in the information a breeze.
What's not so great: Some of the more complicated forms need some better clarifiction.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to use program. It gives you step by step instructions with icons on the side for questions about the certain step. This is my 6th year using TurboTax and I highly recommend it.
