Excellent and easy as always

My wife and I have been using TurboTax for years now. We love how simple it is, how quickly we can get our taxes done, and how fast we get our returns when filed electronically. Great product at a great price!

AMT Hurts, But No Big Deal!

This is probably my 15th year of Turbo-Tax or so. It seems I have always used this program. As my life has become more complicated, Turbo-Tax has always had the answers. This was my first year of getting stuck with the AMT. TurboTax did all the calculations and made a painful situation easy. I've never had a problem with this program in all these years. I recommend it to anyone.
What's great about it: Easy as Can Be
What's not so great: None that I know of.

Well Pleased with the Results!

The product overall this year seems seamless in it connections and developments for the entire application.
You never were overly stressed while within certain areas. I would suggest a little more re-ordering of the the Charitable Donations "Items" category, to much having to hunt and peck to find the items within each category and some just did not follow a logical order.
What's great about it: It was thorough
What's not so great: Found some of the expectations of "dates" in the deductions disturbing

TurboTax problems

In the Forms View, many of the "Calculated" fields do not link back to the place where the calculation comes from. Clicking on a Calculated field *sometimes* causes the program to jump to the source of the calculation, but more often nothing happens.
What's not so great: Failure to jump to source of a "Calculated" field
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Its was pretty much like driving with a GPS device..it gave enough chances to go back and correct any info and file at ease. Not sire why I was charged state fees again even though I had bought the cd s/w with state in it

Overall, I'm glad Turbo Tax exists. I helped you make a change in your national system last year after a defect in your system was found. You folks fixed it and updated the forms.

2012 Turbo Tax married filing jointly

There are a number of way Turbo Tax should modify these documents.
1. Instead of using the (back) tab, you can modify the files by specific page numbers for easier access and less time.
2. Also, there is no way to go back to enter income information that was not previously entered. For example,
I forgot to enter some taxes paid to my state and I had to enter the additional taxes in (Other misc. deductions). I just hope I don't get contacted from my state for this information.
