easy!!!

I've used turbo tax for years and it's only gotten better! It's fast, easy and doesn't miss anything..refund here I come!
What's great about it: Easy to follow, all the categories I needed to fill in ....loved that I could file online for free.
What's not so great: Can't think of any...

Finally Finished!

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and it has improved each year. Pretty easy to use. My 72 year old female cousin uses it with a fairly complex return.
I plan to continue using.
It still isn't as user friendly as I would like it to be. When you only use once a year it takes a while to reeducate.
My only suggestion is to keep overall format changes pretty constant year to year to reduce relearning curve!
What's great about it: Pulls in previous data, somewhat user friendly
What's not so great: Didn't accept zip code on my W-2. Company Large - DuPont

Complex made simple!

I have been using TTax for years and cannot imagine using another method, like paying someone else to do this task.
The user interface has improved over the years and the tips and hints do help if you get stuck.
E-filing seems easier and faster than in the past. Not sure if that is my imagination or if the amount of code transmitted is smaller, more servers used or other process improvements. All I know is it is faster!
What's great about it: Imports of prior data; ease of internet connection; error checks
What's not so great: No fault of ttax yet I owe money this year... painful
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

TurboTax user 10+ years

I have used Turbotax 10+ years and I still like it. But the issues with the state of Minnesota bring into question its ability to be proactive. They did resolve the issue very quickly, but the fact it was not caught and got to the news was not good. Still will use if they keep it simple.
What's great about it: So simple and easy to do
What's not so great: Mistake by Turbotax (Minnesota issues) questions ability

I like the overall simplicity and speed, but I still miss some of the clarity that comes only from doing taxes the old-fashioned way.
What's great about it: Recall from prior year and Fed to State save time
What's not so great: Some entries that feel unnecessary

Worked Great!

I like to use Turbo Tax, because using it, I feel like I have done a thorough job and have not forgotten or left anything out.
One thing that was not clear to me is that in the end, I had to e-file both Federal and State returns and pay for the State Return. Looking at the DVD cover and other parts of the program led me to believe that I could e-file my Federal Return for free and mail my state return

What's great about it: I like the thoroughness of the step by step process
What's not so great: A couple of things were not clear, but it was way better than trying to do my taxes on my own.
