Loved it for the 4th straight year

Loved the easy way it was to do my taxes. After years of doing it by hand, I found it so easy and time saving.

Overall TurboTax makes it easier to do taxes. What I don't like is that it is difficult to see the big picture at times. I would prefer if it showed the actual tax form alongside the questions, particularly when I'm trying to compare the previous year's return. I also find it somewhat cumbersome to correct mistakes, in terms of finding the exact place to enter the correction.
Another problem is charitable contributions. I wish, wish, wish Turbo Tax would let me put in the bottom line for donations first so I can see whether I need to take the time to enter each individually or if I'm still just going to be taking the standard deduction. We give to lots of charities, so this is a real time waster.
What's great about it: Makes it easier to complete taxes

Overall, I am very satisfied with the Turbo tax software. I have been using it for the last 11 years and so far I haven't had any problem.
I wish Turbo Tax software also allows to amend a return for federal, in case I need to re-submit my return with some amendments.

What's great about it: importing W2 and 1099-R from financial institutions was a breeze
What's not so great: Captial One (previously ING Direct) is not in the list for importing

In general, this is a good an reliable product.
What's great about it: Appears to be quite thorough, especially in walking you through deductions.
What's not so great: Past versions seemed a bit friendlier. It would be nice to see the overall tax at each entry, not just the amount due.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and wouldn't trade it for anything. no need to go to a tax accountant to have taxes done.
What's great about it: Information provided is excellent
