I have used it before & will recommend it to any one as a safe & easy method to do taxes even when you have several forms to submit, such as interest and complicated items.

retiree confusion

I have used Turbo tax on a regular basis for several years.At first, I found it scary to do taxes without having to read federal instructions. I have learned to trust their operation and with just a little clarification from a professional this year I again sailed through.
What's great about it: mostly clear easy operation.
What's not so great: had trouble handling a roll over from a standard tax deferred IRA to a Roth.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Fast and Easy

The step by step process will gives everyone the expertise that CPA's have.
I really like the itemized charity contributions. Who knows how much money we just gave away in the past! All we have to do is make a list and Turbo Tax tells us what it's worth.
What's great about it: Step by step process and Deductions!
What's not so great: I still had to find time to do it.

I have used Turbo Tax exclusively for five years and I have always been pleased with the easiness even when having to perform such a task. The simplicity of the program is User Friendly and "dummy free".
What's great about it: Quick & Easy
What's not so great: Itemizing deductions for charity

I appreciate this product that makes figuring and filing my taxes so easy. I also appreciate knowing that there is support available if I need help. Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: Turbotax has all the forms needed to meet my needs and keeps all my records organized

2012 Confusion

Turbotax deluxe download on MAC worked fine. As a software analyst(retired), I found the website confusing; no log out and never sure that I was logged into my account or that I had logged out.
Started using Turbotax with the DOS version.
I prefer the download, but it seems that you are moving to the online version.

What's great about it: excellent tax computation
What's not so great: Web site was confusioning. Hard to determine if I was logged into my account. It had no logout menu.
