Easy to Use

I have used TurboTax for many years and it continues to simplify an difficult process, filing of income taxes.
With the built in features of importing previous years information and return, it eases the entire process.
Some things are a little difficult to understand but each year it becomes easier.
What's great about it: Ease of use and importing of info from prior yar
What's not so great: Some of the language and explanations aren't easy to understand.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

A get-it-done tool!

I have been using TurboTax for several years now. My taxes are not overly complicated, but as a Pastor they are not simple either. TurboTax has made filing taxes reasonably easy (if not fun... paying taxes is never fun... just sayin'). My associate once worked for a tax service, and even he uses TurboTax. I highly recommend it!
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions; mostly intuitive; you don't need an accounting degree!
What's not so great: On my son's simple return it somehow locked on to it being a "refile" and I could find no way to change it.

As usual, Turbo Tax was great this year. Loading data from last year is a great feature. Efiling is convenient. Saving all data and forms on my computer was easy. I plan on using Turbo Tax for the foreseeable future.
What's great about it: Convenience for the whole family.
What's not so great: cost of efile

Filing for Dummies

Easy to use. Patient tax coach. Easy to look up uncertain areas. Informs you when you don't qualify for certain deductions. Well done. You don't need to dread tax time! Saved me a trip to the tax office.
What's great about it: Walks you through. Makes everyone a tax pro. Intuitive.
What's not so great: Deluxe version didn't include state file free

Great program, very affordable and reliable. Anyone can fill in the blanks -- that's all the "professionals" are doing!
I wish that you could just navigate through an entire section (i.e. Income) in the Easy Guide without having to continue to go back and forth.

excellent program

I use to pay a company to do my taxes then three years ago I bought TURBO TAX and realized how easy it was to do myself. Last year I bought another program that was cheaper only to find just because theyre bigger named in the tax field dosent mean it would be the same. In fact there's was more difficult and a green box didnt mean more money at all. Bought TURBO TAX deluxe this year and was THRILLED at how easy to follow. Thank You TURBO TAX

I like TurboTax and have been using it for the past few years. It is easy to use and the refund it generates is good, but I always wonder if I left money on the table...
Guess the only way to know would be to go via a CPA, but at significantly more cost, I'm willing to stick with TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy to use, good refund
What's not so great: Wonder if there are more deductions

This year Turbotax rocked very easy

I've used Turbo tax several years and to be honest I stopped using it because it wasn't as easy as other programs. But this year I decided to give a try and they hit a home run with this years version. It was very easy, the guides were great.
What's great about it: the guides were great
What's not so great: didn't find any !!
