Tax Money

TurboTax has been a great product. I've used it for pretty much every tax return I've worked on with the exception of 1 year. And in that particular year I shorted myself a few bucks, but luckily/miraculously the IRS caught it and sent the balance of my refund to me.
I'd recommend this product to anyone. I mean anyone. If you think doing taxes is difficult, TurboTax will take the fear out of the process. It may take a little time to get started, but as long as you have all your tax documents and records on hand, it'll be a breeze and you'll be done before you know it.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax has never failed me, the auto update feature makes sure that you always have the updated forms
What's not so great: There are no cons, other than Turbo Tax not doing my tax return for me...

Can No Longer Do Without It

I used to file my own taxes and typically made 1 or more material errors which were caught by the IRS. I have been using Turbo for three years without the IRS finding 1 problem. I also get my returns done in about 25% of the time it used to take me. .
What's great about it: Very easy to follow
What's not so great: Should have a "Go to Finish" function so that you can correct an error and navigate immediately to print the returns.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

It gets more intuitive every year. I am a little concerned I am too removed from the details of the actual forms. You have made this so easy, with the error checking to back it up..
also was a bit surprised to get to the Filing step after many return validations...to find there were many errors to resolve on an overwritten 4797 form.
What's great about it: ability to go back and forth between forms and guided entry is easier
What's not so great: didnt figure out how to get to the exact page of guided entry i wanted.

The fees for filing the state return and state e-filing seemed to be hidden at the end.

Turbo Tax is Great!

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. It gives me peace of mind to know that I have control over the information that is requested on the forms. It is easy to answer the questions, and Turbo Tax does the math! I enjoy looking at the comparison bstween the current tax year and the last tax year.
I have not had any problems with Turbo Tax through all the years I have used it. Turbo Tax is less expensive than hiring a tax professional to do my taxes. I will continue to use Turbo Tax in the coming years!
What's great about it: Simple to use, priofessional, and secure

For a person new at tax refunds, this was the simplist program I have found. The other free tax filing options on the interenet were not as helpful, resourceful, and as simple as I experienced my refund through Turbo-Tax. I recommend all to try it.
What's great about it: Simple, Quick, Easy, Learner Enabling, and a Relief to be finished.
What's not so great: Too much updating software
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved
