It is great software, asks a lot of good questions, But detailed indepth tax information would be helpful

I just love Turbo Tax. Each year is a little different for us but with help from friends etc we can get it done.
What's great about it: Very user friendly for easy tax customers
What's not so great: Sometimes have to check for detailed answers
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good tax software

I have successfully used TurboTax for many years. I like it a lot. It would be nice to have more links with trusted advice and tips for tax strategies.

Great Product with One Gaping Flaw

I have used Turbotax for many years and am quite happy with it, with 2 exceptions:
1. There is no ability to sort (alphabetically or by date) the charitable organizations you give money to so when you get a list of the organizations you gave to on your previous return and then go to enter data into them this year you have to scroll through hunting for the correct organization. This seems to me to be a simple programming fix but it has been there year after year, in both the online and the CD versions.
2. I used the CD version of Turbotax for the 1st time in years after using the Online version for many years. The itsDeductible listing for charitable items in the online version seemed much easier to use and seemed to have a much more extensive listing of items and made it easier to enter out of the ordinary, miscellaneous items.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Lack of Sort capability for Contributions, limited charitable items values in CD version

My review for Turbo Tax

Easy to use and follow up. Especially when you keep using Turbo Tax to do your tax every year.
Not sure if I can use Turbo Tax to import or convert from other Tax software.
What's great about it: Easy to follow through.
What's not so great: Still need to have CD or download.

I have always used professional tax services, never thought about doing it myself. I also got married during the tax year so everything was a first for me this year. Turbo Tax made it easy & affordable. Thanks!
