Nice & Easy

I've been using Turbo Tax for the past 5 years. I continue to use it because it's simple, quick, takes the uncertainty out of doing your taxes, and I'm confident that my tax returns are accurate. Nice & easy!
What's great about it: It is very simple and quick

Perfect? Almost there for me.

It is nice to include last year's numbers after each section so that I would not miss anything. Would like to see the national average comparsion again. When changing the info for stocks and options trade, you have to go thru couple steps for every single one. Would like to have excel like spead sheet showing all info (date purchase, date sold, purchase price, and sold price) for entering info.
What's great about it: nice and simple
What's not so great: too many steps to enter/change stocks and options trade info

Easy easy easy

product improves each year, saves you a hassle because you do it from home and if you use it each year the saving of info from the prior year makes it a breeze. Who needs a tax accountant? Not I !!!

Solid Process

Overall, the 2012 software is incrementally better than 2011. Transitions through the interview process are smoother. It is very easy to go back and review your entire picture at anytime throughout the process.
What's great about it: Easy to follow process. Covers all typical tax situations.
What's not so great: Have to pay to e-file your state return.

Feeling good

I really liked using the it's deductible feature. It helped that I have photos of the items I donated. I simply checked the appropriate box, and the feature put in the average value. I'm going to be really careful about using photos and documenting the donations since this feature really made a difference in the amount we owed.
What's great about it: Good questions to help guide. It's Deductible feature is useful!
What's not so great: Wish there were better questions to guide in doing state forms
