I've been using Turbo Tax for many years; and even as my circumstances have changed, Turbo Tax has always provided me with user-friendly software that does what I need it to do and even what I didn't know I needed it to do! It answers my questions and gives me peace of mind that my taxes are being filed correctly and that no deduction stone has been left unturned!

Needed help from a Turbo Tax CPA and was called by a very helpful agent. Explained what I needed and gave me great tips on easy ways to input information.
What's great about it: how easy using the program is
What's not so great: knowing how to access forms you need can sometimes be challenging

it would be nice if a side box would mention the reduction of a deduction or credit. For example the education credit being limited due to income limits. As opposed to having to look through the actual form.
What's great about it: easy to complete
What's not so great: No explaination as to why a deduction or credit was not fully received
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Love Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for the past 5 years now and each year it seems to get easier and take less time to submit. I would recommend to anyone who has pretty straightforward tax situations.
What's great about it: Easily guides you through every step of the way and offers help topics if needed
What's not so great: None

Tax Time Buddy

Sometimes an option is offered that looks like a good deal or one that will possibly increase the size of your refund (Using your home as a part time office). However, once selected this potential good deal results in a bunch of questions that are hard to answer because the information is not available or is hard to come up with. Ultimately you end up going back and canceling the option.
What's great about it: Simple, relieable, professional
What's not so great: Sometimes the questions get a little bit to detailed.

Too easy

I haven't done my own taxes for 25 years. Turbo tax made it a piece of cake. I felt confident every step of the way.
What's great about it: step by step guide with explainations if needed
What's not so great: Would like to review documents without printing before filing
