Turbo Tax Deluxe 2012 - works great

Overall, the software works as well as H&R Tax Cut. It is more expensive and it does not allow you to save PDF file with password. This makes H&R Tax Cut a stronger product if you don't have a super complicated tax return to file.
What's great about it: Easy to use, user friendly
What's not so great: can't use password protection with PDF file while H&R Tax Cut CAN !

Fast and Confident Returns

Easily the most user friendly tax software, makes the most complicated situations simple to understand and follow. The suggestions and questions asked seem like a tax professional is sitting in the room with you!
What's great about it: Trustworthy information, well documented.
What's not so great: Step by step sometimes is too repeatitive.

Have used Turbo Tax for a few years. I like that it remembers info from previous years. It appears to be very thorough with its questioning.

Overall, a great program. Simple and easy to use. Some complicated aspects, like home office and partnerships need a bit more explanation.

Turbo Tax is easy to use. The program supplies all the tools needed to complete your taxes fast. It is dummy proof. Easy to understand and follow. I would reccomend this to anyone.
What's great about it: It does all the thinking for me.
What's not so great: Offering credits for children I do not have.

Filing my taxes was so easy!!

Turbo Tax made it so easy to file my taxes. They walk you through all income,deductions and credit catagories. They reviewed my return and then helped me file the return electronically. Turbo Tax made it so simple and easy. I would recommend Turbo Tax to family, friends and co-workers.
What's great about it: I like the way Turbo Tax walked you through every step they made it so simple
What's not so great: There were no cons

I like the ease and simplicity of being walked through each category of income and deductions. Its so much easier that wrestling with all the paper forms and instructions or searching the IRS websites for information. I plan on using Turbo Tax for 2013 also.
What's great about it: Ease of use and guidance through all the forms and data
