Better Than Ever

I have used Turbo Tax from the very first one. Computers were struggling with mega-bytes and soft wear issues. We had a lot of problems with up-load down-load , Turbo had to deal with Kiplinger (sp) and so on. I am glad you got rid of the gimmicks like navigator and goofy cartoons. you have come a long way with the advancement in technology with out being to egghead -ish.

State Data Wrong

Could not use the WV state information because it was full of errors in the Modifications to Gross Income area. I spent an hour or so in the chat area with one of the techs and still couldn't get it corrected. Tech's supervisor said to delete and redo state return but that didn't work either. I have used Turbo Tax since 2009 but this may be my last year. If they can't (or won't) get the state information right then they should not offer it - particularly when one has to pay extra for the Deluxe software that includes states.
What's great about it: Federal was easy and quick
What's not so great: WV State info is full of errors

Always satisfied with TurboTax product. Have used it for several years. Like the improvements, upgrades, ease of use. Great value for the price.

This year's turbo tax had a few glitches, making it harder to input the number of items in the itemized deductions with charitable contributions screen.
I also wanted more explanations on the Wisconsin state filing form.

1 Free file for state a lie still charges you to file state!!!!!!!
