finally done

I have used Turbo Tax for many of years. I am retired military and being able to follow and understand how and what has to be added in each area is wonderful. I am use to structure and the product has it. I have several people tell me to use other brand names because they are cheeper, but I tell them cheap is not always better.
What's great about it: easy to follow and to understand
What's not so great: wish the charge for state tax filling was included in the cost

Best Tax Software Ever

I've used Turbotax for many many years now and it gets easier to use all the time. I've converted friends from using expensive tax services to doing taxes on their own using this great tool. It's the best!!

Will us Turbo Tax every year they make it easy and give me the confidence that everything is right with them checking for errors.
What's great about it: Turbo tax took all the thinking out for me, I just had to fill in the blanks

The product is extremely easy to use. It provides good explenations of the needed information without giving you so much detail that you get lost. I would highly recommend this product.

As a multi-year user I am again impressed by the overall ease of use. Program is quick and efficient and the interview process works well. I have never had a problem with a return prepared with TurboTax. However, the continuing questions about up grades can be very annoying and detracts from the flow of information

Made Taxes Enjoyable

I do mine and my child's taxes, it makes it fairly simple. Lots of help functions. Doing 2 state returns for one person is cofusing but if you do the state that you do not live in 1st it is easier. Overall it is worth it, I know several accountants that use it.
What's great about it: Had 2 states and it fills in 90% for you
What's not so great: Have child in college asked some repeated questions

Great Product, but visually busy

Turbo Tax is fantastic for filing returns. It helps detail all the deductions you should be looking for. It tells you when you've messed up. It takes care of so many details I don't want to be bothered with myself. The only con is the visual design of the program. The amount of text on many pages and the font style & size is "taxing" on the eyes after an hour or so. However, if you prepare your taxes over several sessions of no more than a half hour each, this shouldn't be a problem.
What's great about it: It takes care of everything for me
What's not so great: The font & location of text on each page makes it difficult to read after spending an hour doing taxes

easy to follow

I have used Turbo Tax for years. I love that it remembers everything from last year. It really cuts down on my time to enter data.
What's great about it: I liked that it took me through all the deductions including some I forgot
What's not so great: asking foreign income and assets to many times
