Very convenient

I like how Turbo Tax saves all my information from year to year. I don't have to worry about forgetting anything because all my information is right there for me when I go to file my taxes the next year.
I didn't like when at certain points I hit the back button it sent me to the begining of the section instead of the last page I was working on. I found this highly annoying.
What's great about it: Everything is right there
What's not so great: I just wanted to go to the previous page
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Only Way for Me to Go

I like the way you just enter facts from your tax documents, and Turbotax does the worksheets and the return automatically. I love the way it then transfers a lot of the data to your State tax return.
What's great about it: Easy, easy, easy
What's not so great: Charge you to file your State tax return electronically

Less pain than by hand

I have used turbo tax for many years, and overall it is satisfactory. I did find this year the program made it harder to carry over certain information from last year, and also did not upload my W2, meaning I had to enter it all by hand. What's up with that? Seemed quirky and there was no explanation given, error displayed or anything else. So things like that were off putting.
What's great about it: data carry over, auto addition, and e forms
What's not so great: seemed to NOT work uploading information from some brokers this year

Excellent program, but is a bit pricey.

I love being able to work on it piecemeal. I can enter the information I have readily available, and when I find I don't have something, it is easy to save and come back later after I have dug it up.
What's great about it: Ease of use, Ease of revising data

Very easy to use and to understand. The quick links answered any questions I might have had. Took me less than an hour to complete my taxes and that was with two kids interrupting me!
