I am having trouble saving for later retrival. Is there another file besides PDF file that would make the program easily to deal with...? I am having trouble pulling up the file. My son's tax file comes up in the place of mines. This is very annoying. I cannot print my state taxes to mail them in. I cannot even print my federal either.
What's great about it: Program makes doing taxes easy.
What's not so great: Having trouble printing. cannot read PDF file.

What's great about it: Very user friendly and i like the fact it loads last years return

ended us doing ours and 4 family members taxes this year and will from now on since it's so easy year to year
What's great about it: easy to use and love the year to year download and comparison
What's not so great: sometimes hard to track questions to form entries
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

THAT was EASY!

Like I've been doing for over 25 years, I did my 1040 with the latest TurboTax. It has continually improved its interface, its version choices, its protection offerings, its continual updates, and its ease of use <period>
TurboTax has been at this whole "home IRS return prep" thing for 30+ years (I think) and I wouldn't do my taxes any other way. A tax preparer? I've been there and done that, but nothing beats the privacy and flexibility of doing your own taxes at home. One more tax year under the bridge, TurboTax. See ya again next year!
What's great about it: Questioning all along; Suggestions; FREE E-File
What's not so great: HAVING to always key the decimal point before entering the cents.

I wasn't a firefighter in 2012 so I entered no entry. When I went to transmit my taxes Turbo Tax forced me to choose either yes or no. I don't think that either applied to me and no entry would have been the right choice. Very aggravating.

Great Except with Tax Exempt Dividends!

Have used TurboTax for as long as I can remember. Entering tax exempt dividends was different than last year and much more difficult. What happened?
What's great about it: Easy to use and file
What's not so great: Had trouble with tax exempt dividends
