Tried and True DIY

After you've gathered your materials, you might as well save some $$ and do your return yourself. Then you know what is going on and it isn't that hard. We've got all sorts of complexities and I'd rather talk to software vs. a tax professional to get my taxes done.
What's great about it: Makes it easy year to year.
What's not so great: Always worry I could be getting a better deal (paying less).

Improving screen scrolling

When choosing to Explore on MY Own vs EasyGuide, the next screen shows a list of categories. There are two column titles
Example: 2011 2012. When you scroll down the titles scroll up. It would be better if they were stationary and the columns moved up under them. Google does it in Gmail, so it should be possible. Also scrolling with the arrow key's is delayed until the screen moves it seems that using the arrow keys is not supported.

Quick & Easy

Thanks to Intuit for taking the stress (undue stress) out of tax time for another year. I especially like the fact the Turbo Tax allowed me to download financial data from my investment account so I didn't have to wade through pages of data entry -- Woo! what a relief

I would like to be able to look at the actual return and click on a box and have it go to the section of turbo tax where I would enter that information. There were deductions for utilities for my home business that I couldn't enter anywhere. Last year I entered my utilities for my home and it computed a percentage for the business.
What's great about it: I like the step by step instructions
What's not so great: Business section is not that clear
