couldn"t live without it

Don't have to be an accountant or tax expert to use, but extra benefit if you know some what of what you are doing, great product, been using for several years
What's great about it: Keeps you moving forward
What's not so great: some errors are not self evident

I've used TurboTax for several years. I like the control it gives me over the time and money I spend doing my taxes. I choose the product that's right for my needs and I work on my taxes at my own pace. I think it's the best tax prep solution on the market.
What's great about it: Straight forward instructions; Complete package (All Federal, State, Local forms)
What's not so great: Can't think of any right now.

Quick and as painless as taxes allow

As far as taxes go, TurboTax made it as painless as taxes could conceivably be.
What's great about it: Taxes went quickly and accurately
What's not so great: Can't think of any offhand.

state ref. - fed tax due

My state refund was conveniently less what I owed the feds. However, there was no acknowledgement of this.... Guess I'll have to wait and seee where my money ends up......
What's great about it: fed tax payed ?

The import functions make taxes easy. Much better than other software packages I've used in the past

Confusing

I was expecting more help with the program. Not sure that I got all the deductions that I could have.
What's great about it: Did walk you through the program.
What's not so great: Didn't make suggestions for items that I was expecting
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
