Helped a bit with my refund

It would be great if TurboTax highlighted tax changes that were specific to the return on which you were working. For example, we've always recevied a home office deduction for the past few years. This year we did not. I've been using Turbotax since 2007 so it would be helpful to have the reason pop up as to why (eg, income too high, needs to be over a minimum% of your income).
Also, some of the things that the state deducts for are different than the federal. Turbo tax says this generally but provides no specifics.
What's great about it: Resons for changes from year to year are not apparent
What's not so great: There isn't a seamless transfer of data from federal to state

I have been using Turbo Tax for 5 years and have always been satisfied with the ease of use and accuracy of the return. I have even influenced my son and daughter to use Turbo Tax. Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: As always TT lead me through to a successful end
What's not so great: Had a problem with 1099-R being recognized as a W-2 and not sure if that issue was resolved.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Better than paying a CPA a fortune to do my taxes

I feel good doing my own tax return, but I feel bad having to pay Fed. taxes (1st time), I usually get a refund. Not enough deductions this year!!
What's great about it: Each step is explained in finite detail
What's not so great: No complaints

I liked that Turbo Tax was quick and easy to use. It took you through each step, and found me the most credit for my refund. It made suggestions when needed.

Taxes Made Easy

I really liked how easy it was to input all of the information into TurboTax. The rollover from the previous years return was simple and really helped with the current years return.
Cons included receiving an error message regarding the purchase of a 2012 Toyota Prius Plug-in, and not being able to review the return by clicking on a specific line of the return to see what makes up that amount.
What's great about it: Easy to use and input information
