I found Turbo Tax to be a very easy way to do my taxes for the first time. it made everything so much easier to do then by myself!

Does well, but with limitations

Have been using TurboTax for my return for many years.
Several years ago I married, with spouse in another non-adjoining state. Filing TurboTax jointly for Fed still prepared my state's part-time resident) form correctly, but when purchased spouse's state, it did not print correctly where she must be primary name on her state's form.
I had to "fudge" by recreating the entire Fed info with her as primary, then printing her state's form. Still manual corrections were needed to finish her form. First year calls to TurboTax techies didn't resolve this issue for subsequent years, so this year I decided to not purchase the additional state and do it instead using info from the printed Fed 1040 and manually fill in her state's form online at the state's website.
Unusual issue due to filing the Fed jointly and me and spouse living in two different states, so TurboTax is still a great product and will be a breeze next year now that she has become a resident of my state.

2013 TurboTax Review

I had after-tax contributions included in my IRA rollover as well as before-tax contributions. It was an unusual situation. The employer did not have before-tax contributions at that time in the early 1990's. It was a little difficult to make the entry showing the taxable portion of the distribution.
What's great about it: Standard items easy to follow
What's not so great: Unusual items difficult to find
