Great and easy!!!

It made doing taxes so easy and even brought info from previous year and grabbed my w2 info - didn't even have to type much in !!!!

I had a complex foreign income issue...and although it took 2+ hrs to get through to someone, the lady I finally spoke with went out of the way to best understand the situation. She consulted with her team, called me back twice within 24 hrs and sent me an email explaining how to handle the issue. She went above and beyond!
What's great about it: Incredible REsponse to a difficult situation
What's not so great: Long wait on the phone
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. I switched out once, but came back the following year. In general the solutions offered are excellent. My only complaint is that I don't feel I am in control of my return. Perhaps reviews of various schedules as they are completed would help remedy this.
An excellent product. Super time saver.
What's great about it: About as easy as it can get. Auto downloads from brokerage firms a big plus! Auto calculation great.
What's not so great: Don't feel I have control over the return. If a mistake is made, I will never catch it. Should include a free state also

Everything I needed

Turbotax made filing simple. The questions were logical and I like the fact that it brings my information forward from previous years. For example 6 years ago I refinanced my house and paid points. These were being amortorized over the life of the loan. This year I refinanced again. (No points, Yay!) Turbtax automatically deducted the remaining points from this year's taxes. However, it didn't explain to me that that was what it was doing. Since I was aware of the law in this case I wasn't surprised by the deduction, but a heads up telling me what the program was doing, and why, would have been nice. The running totals are great, as you can see exactly how each deduction/credit affects your tax. And finally the final e-filing seems to be getting better every year. It seemed to be easier than in previous years and went quicker.
What's great about it: Importing tax information from previous years
What's not so great: charities brought forward by date, since they change year to year it would be nice to be able to change to alphabetical

Overall excellent. Was able to complete return in minimal time. I have used TurboTax for many years, and this was my best experience (also got a return this year which helped-grin).
What's great about it: Easy, straghtforward to enter
What's not so great: A few items difficult to find/search

This year my return went better than last two years. Problems I had last two years weren't detected by turbo tax until I efiled and it changed what I owed considerably. I found out what the problem was and made sure it didn't happen again. I wish all error and problems were detected by turbo tax prior to efiling so my amount owed wouldn't have changed.
What's great about it: Easy to go through all the steps for deductions
What's not so great: Had problems last 2 yrs. where error wasn't caught until e-filed & it changed what we owed by alot.
