2012 Taxes

I really liked the lay out this year - it seemed very "user friendly" and had plenty of references. The "learn more" links were easy to use and when you exited out of them you were right back to where you left off with the program. Great job!
What's great about it: Very information, plenty of references and cautions, fine product.

I've used Turbo Tax every year since about 1987, when it came on 5-1/4" floppy disks. It has always worked very well and this year is no exception.

One glitch on entering 1099-G. There are 2 places it can be entered. Mike at the call center help number solved the problem in a short time. Wait time to get to him was relative short for mid day.
What's great about it: program gets data from past
What's not so great: surprise at end to pay for refund deposit in bank

Turbo Tax Review

I recently gave birth to twins and am shorter than ever on time and energy. This year's turbo tax experience was probably my best yet and I even had to reenter items that usually carry over due to computer problems.
What's great about it: Very easy to navigate through

Using this software to file taxes is a no brainer! They walk you through every step of the process and explain everything along the way. There are always "help" buttons to push if you're not sure what something means or if it applies to you. We have used Turbo Tax for years, and I have never been disappointed!
What's great about it: fast, easy!
What's not so great: Nothing! :)

My Refund

I have been using Turbo Tax since its inception. I would not file my taxes any other way!
What's great about it: Affordable in price. Flows easily from one topic to another
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
