I have used Turbo Tax since 2001 and have been very satisfied with results.
What's great about it: Easy to use and helpful hints.
What's not so great: Sometimes it is too detailed for the experienced user.

Smooth sailing

I have been using Turbo Tax from the beginning of TT and each year it gets better and easier to use. It is a life saver for me as it puts all the numbers in the right spot. I had some questions this year about taxes on social security and TT walked me through the worksheet that showed me exactly what the answer should be.
What's great about it: step by step method of entry
What's not so great: better knowledge base for state returns

I like the double check feature and the ability to e-file.
What's great about it: TurboTax is easy to follow use.
What's not so great: No cons
