it just works

I've used Turbo tax almost from the first time it came out, I've learned so much about my own tax situation that I now think of the Tax affect when making a large purchase such as furnace an a/c. I've only had one year where I had a problem but it was mostly my mistake it was before they offered the online chat to ask questions about taxes not just program help. I will never go back to a tax service ever as long as I'm a functioning person.
What's great about it: the interview for your situation is great
What's not so great: not always for the beginner

I love Turbo Tax. I have been using it for years and it simple and easy to use each and every time. I am a self taught tax preparer and turbo tax has help me out so much through the years.

Still needs improvement

TurboTax is excellent on the federal side. The state side is still less than stellar. We had less than a $1000 for unreimbursed employee expenses. The federal return was filed and accepted promptly. We paid the $19.95 to file the state return which was rejected because we have unreimbursed employee expenses. We have to file a paper copy because of this but TurboTax didn't take the time to fully understand the specifics of our state, took our $19.95 and we still have to file by paper. Frustrating. Maybe it's time to look at the competition to TurboTax again?
What's great about it: Easy to understand, thorough (mostly), convenient
What's not so great: Not yet there on state taxes

Missed the Contribution Carryovers for past 10 yrs

I itemize deductions and for the past 10 years I have missed the Part III Contribution Carryovers to 2013. I did not realize I even had a carryover until this year. However, I could only go back to 2007 and input 5 years of back information.
Turbo Tax needs to automaticly take the prior years contribution carryover and indicate the amount to the tax filler so this money doest not get overlooked because the filler may not understand the questions submitted by Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: gets easier every year
What's not so great: contribution carryovers from prior year does not get inserted in present year of turbotax filling

Program Loading

I used your program on two different computers and every time I opened the program to work on my returns, it seemed to take an inordinate amount of time to open. I am not talking about the update time - which is good. My computers are both Dell, running Windows Vista on the laptop and Windows 7 on the desktop. I have not had this problem in past years

I am a dedicated Turbo-Tax user. I find the instructions
for completing the schedules easy and not confusing.
Also, in preparation for completing the work documents
