I have been a user of Turbo Tax for many years and each time it has gotten better. The software is very user friendly, I love the run error check section, the information that you receive after transmitting and the fact that it gives you the option for email and text confirmation and/or other details. I refer many to try and use this product on their own every year instead of paying extra money for a tax prepare person to do what they can do. I really love the part about protecting yourself with help from professionals if you don't do it totally correct.
What's great about it: user friendly
What's not so great: nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years and it has always been fairly easy for me to use and I am not a numbers person and would be totally lost without a program like Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: I liked the way Turbo Tax walks you through all of the questiuons
What's not so great: It was a little hard to go back and review and edit entries

2012 Fed Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for some years, and it has worked well for me. My only issue is when I back up to review something, it is not obvious on how to return to where I was prior to backing up. Generally Turbo Tax is fine and the It's Deductible feature is extremely helpful
What's great about it: all automatic calculations, import data from previous year Turbo Tax, no need to determine what forms you need
What's not so great: I had to update at the end, when ready to file, after update Turbo Tax does not take you back to the file position
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I love Turbo Tax

I've used Turbo Tax for years. I don't fret about doing my taxes. I get answers that make me feel confident. It is really fool-proof to me. It covers even the little things we may not think of. It error checks. I send my returns with complete confidence.
What's great about it: Easy, I feel confident with return,I can do it in hours, answers questions
What's not so great: I wish it was cheaper but it really isn't too expensive

Overall Turbo Tax has been a good product. In the spirit of refining the product for ease of use there are more and more assumptions as you roll your tax data from year to year. I personally, do not mind reviewing in depth each subject. This year I will be retiring and am concerned this will be a challenge when filing 2013 with TT.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Concern with assumption that last years data is the same as this year.

It's so easy to work with! Totally worth the small fee. I had a problem and the expert they gave me hooked me up and I was done in a few min.

Blew Away Hurricane Sandy!

I sustained real damage to my home in Hurricane Sandy. The recovery is on-going and looks like it will continue for some time. I was dreading filing my taxes because I anticipated that dealing with the casualty loss would be tedious. I was wrong . . . Turbo Tax blew away Hurricane Sandy! I worked through the casualty loss section, clicked on some of the IRS pub hyperlinks to check the info and my work, and everything looks good.
Thanks Turbo Tax.
