Great software! I have used it for years. It only gets better every year.
What's great about it: Easy, easy step by step instruction; Thorough
What's not so great: Have to scroll to bottom of screen after every itemization/ income section. A continue button at the top of the screen
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Been using Turbo Tax for 15 years and works great - I no longer have enough deductions to itemize, but go through the exercise to make sure.
What's great about it: Format stays the same
What's not so great: Does not delete forms from previous year that are no longer needed.

For a few years I did my taxes by hand & then checked them with turbo tax. I missed things by hand Turbo Tax caught. Great program

Quick and painless!

This is the third year we've used the program. It's so simple. Love the step by step guide. The review even caught that I forgot to deduct my nursing license renewal! I really appreciate the time saved by extracting last years data, and the side by side comparison!
What's great about it: Pulls in data from previous year, shortening the process!
What's not so great: None

accurate tax prepration and minimal costs. Helps the novice learn more about what goes into preparing a return and helps in understanding the need for planning in future years

Loving Turbo Tax!

I have used Turbo Tax for years and will continue to do so. It's nice being guided through the process. I'm very confident we have a properly prepared tax return each year. It's so easy and convenient when I have a question I can do a search in the program and usually find just what I need. Highly recommend Turbo Tax to anyone who will listen!
What's great about it: Ease of Use - step by step guide!
What's not so great: None that I can see :)

Again, TurboTax proved itself make paying the Government almost a pleasure.
What's great about it: EasyGuide is an excent tool.
What's not so great: Near the end the Easyguide should provide more obvious choices in how a refund is to be handled. I had to do a search

My only frustration with this product follows:
I live in Nevada, a gambling state, and when entering W2-G forms for gambling winnings one must repeatedly enter ALL of the information from each separate W2-G. When one must enter dozens of W2-G forms, as I must do, it would really be nice if when going to the next W2-G form all of the basic info would either be pre-populated OR if one were to start typing the name of the gambling institution the previously used ones would start to pop up for selection and auto-fill all of the repetitive fields. I use WillMaker and that product does exactly this for repetitive entries. It is really laborious to RE-ENTER repetitive name, address, tax-ID, phone, type of bet, et. al., on each W2-G form. This really needs to be addressed.
What's great about it: A most excellent and easy-to-use product.
What's not so great: Needs improvement for repetitive entries.
