Great stress reducer.

I have used Turbo Tax for about 5 years now and prior to that I did it all by hand. I don't know what I would do without it now. I would never do my taxes by hand again. Turbo Tax is a great stress reliever for me and explains everything well. Thank you.
What's great about it: Relieves my stress.
What's not so great: Don't have any.

Less Pain.. Still Sane.. Can't Complain

I worked on this over a period of 2 weeks. I do an hour or so and then quit. This keeps me sane and gives me a chance to think about other possible deductions and perhaps to find some additional documents that I need. It's never fun, of course, but you can always pick up where you left off and continue from there or go back and edit.
What's great about it: Thorough and user friendly
What's not so great: They didn't load up all my personal info from last year

Got It Done!

Thank goodness for TurboTax. It is easy to use...all I have to do is gather my information and enter it as the program asks me questions. I generally keep tax information on a spreadsheet, so I simply print it out, and I'm ready to go.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, comprehensive, complete!

Easy, Intuitive &Thorough

This is the easiest and best tax filing program on the market. I've compared TuroTax with other self prepared Tax programs and the others come up short. Specifically, TurboTax correctly addresses Railroad Retirement Tier 2 computations where some others do not. I always wind up filing with Turbo Tax. Their e-file module makes life a lot simpler for me.
What's great about it: Exceptional Guidance
What's not so great: A foreign pension section is needed

in preparing my return I forgot to include the Social Security payments I received and your review process failed to pick up this omission even though I am 72 years old and had received and reported socal security payments in 2011 turbo tax return
